This Privacy Policy describes how we, “Spin-a-Sale”, collect, use and share your personal information. Throughout this Privacy Policy we’ll refer to our Spin-a-Sale application as “Spin-a-Sale Application” or “Services”.

Account Information

When you install the Spin-a-Sale Application we automatically obtain and store your Shopify store name, email address, website domain and an OAuth access token that is provided to us by Shopify. We obtain your Shopify store name and OAuth access token for the following purposes:
  • So that you can access your Spin-a-Sale Application account.
  • So that the Spin-a-Sale Application can connect to Shopify's system to perform various functions that are necessary in order to make the Spin-a-Sale Application features work properly. For instance automatically installing the app on your website.
We obtain your email address and website domain for the following purposes:
  • In case we need to contact you about important information related to our Services.
  • Find and access your account in the event that you contact us requesting assistance.

Other Accessible Information

During the time that you have the Spin-a-Sale Application installed, Shopify permits us to access to data about your Shopify store through their API. While this information is accessible to us, we don't store any personal information beyond your Shopify store name, email and website domain in order to use our Services. In the event that you uninstall the Spin-a-Sale Application this access is immediately revoked.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

Log Information

Like most online service providers, we collect information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, IP address, unique device identifiers, referring site, the date and time of access and operating system.

Usage Information

We collect information about your usage of our Services. For example when you use Spin-a-Sale on your website we track the number of times the Service is loading on your website. We collect this to better monitor account usage so that we can make adequate adjustments to our servers and infrastructure so that the Spin-a-Sale Application loads as quickly as possible for our customers. We use Google Analytics to assist with this data collection and analysis.

Location Information

We may determine the approximate location of your device from your IP address. We collect and use this information to, for example, calculate how many people visit our Services from certain geographic regions.

Spin-a-Sale, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies or individuals to perform certain business-related functions. For instance if you contact us for support it may be necessary to share information about your account to an outsourced customer support company in order to adequately resolve your issue. When we employ another company to perform a function of this nature, we only provide them with the information that they need to perform their specific function. We require our subsidiaries, outsourced contractors and related third parties to follow this Privacy Policy for personal information that we share with them.
